Our Distinctives
The Inspired Scriptures
We believe in the divine inspiration of Scripture, meaning they are authoritative, inerrant, infallible and sufficient for all life and godliness.
Expository Preaching
We believe God ordained preaching and teaching His Word as the primary means by which His people grow in their knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, as well as in personal holiness. This comes about as the Word is preached and taught in the power of the Holy Spirit one verse at a time, carefully explaining the text for the purpose of equipping the saints in biblically sound doctrine.
The Sovereignty of God
We believe in the sovereignty of God and teach that God possesses and exercise His supreme authority over all the affairs of this world. We believe that God is truly God. He is both creator and sustainer of the universe. He rules and reigns providentially over our lives. He directs not only the historical events of the world but also the personal events of individuals.

We believe that God is sovereign in all aspects of salvation. True salvation is obtained by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, according to Scripture alone, to the glory of God alone. These truths were derived out of the Protestant Reformation which we now know as the Five Solas and the Doctrines of Grace.
The Five Solas
Sola Scriptura
Scripture Alone
Scripture alone is the final authority of truth (2 Timothy 3:14-4:2; Isaiah 8:20; Psalm 19, 119; 2 Peter 1:3, 20-21).
Sola Gratia
Grace Alone
God’s unmerited favor is the only ground of our salvation (Ephesians 2:1-10; Titus 3:3-7; 2 Timothy 1:9; Romans 11:6).
Sola Fide
Faith Alone
Faith is the alone instrument of our justification (Romans 4-5; Luke 18:9-14; 2 Corinthians 5:21).
Solus Christus
Christ Alone
Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and man (John 14:6; Acts 4:12; Colossians 1:13-2:17; Hebrews 1-13).
Soli Deo Gloria
Glory of God Alone
Only God deserves to receive glory (Isaiah 43:7; Romans 11:36; Ephesians 1:3-14).
